About Los Angeles City Camp
LA City Camp
was initiated as response to the deterioration of the Los Angeles community after the riots in April 1992.
LA City Camp
is a grass roots organization started by regular Angelinos, volunteers, that were concerned enough to make an effort to rebuild our broken society. The concept has always been simple: people helping people.. If we don't do it, we can't expect anyone else to.
The camp head quarters was founded in the Nickerson Gardens housing projects in Watts, Los Angeles. It is an area that has been hit hard by poverty, gang warfare, and drug abuse.
We need help to continue on our service for the youth of the
Watts Community!
